First, that it does not pay to try and time the market. Investors

who became timid and scared in the Fall of 2008 (and subsequently sold their

stock and bond holdings) have not fully recovered from the crisis as well

as investors who stayed allocated and diversified among their stock, bond

and commodity holdings.

This is probably the most important lesson that we can glean from the recent (and

ongoing) financial crisis: that crises come and go, but the fundamental laws of investing

are as ancient as mankind has traded goods and services.

Our firm has always espoused the virtues of Time In The Market vs. trying to Time

The Market. Market timing does not work in the long run. Sure, any investor can

buy a double long ETF, or a double short ETF and perhaps fare well over a short

time period. But in the long-run, astute investors that have a disciplined, well

thought out and thorough asset allocation investment plan will almost always (with great

certainty) fare much better than those investors who do not.

As simple as this sounds, this is probably the most important fundamental concept that our

firm has communicated to our clients in the past decade. After all, not all asset classes

and sectors have been 'flat' or 'down' in the past ten years. Certain commodities have

had explosive gains, such as gold and silver. Certain international equity sectors have risen

dramatically in the past ten years: Brazil was up 21.83%; South Korea up 16.99%; Mexico

up 16.50%, and Australia up 14.13% (Source: iShares ETF's; www.ishares.com). Although

past performance is no indication of future results, a ten-year track record does help when

making investment decisions.

So, you see, the most important aspect of being a successful investor is simply ignoring all

the so called 'experts' on the 24/7 financial news channels, and simply following a disciplined,

long-term investment plan. It also pays in the long-run to work with a seasoned Wealth Manager who can guide you through the volatility of the marketplace. We have been educating our clientele to keep their long-term focus and I am proud to say that we are enjoying our tenth year in business on Wall Street.

Market Week In Review; Volatility

This past week reminds us of many historical events in the past 15 years on Wall Street:

1998: Asian Contagion; Volatility was unprecedented

2000: After the Y2K hysteria, stocks took a very big tumble that spring

2001: 9/11 and its aftermath really tested us all; the markets even closed temporarily

2008: After 7 years of unprecedented economic growth, the economy was bound to turn, and it did

2010: The 'flash crash' that saw the Dow Jones Industrial Average drop 1,000 points in 2 minutes

2011: Our 'flash crash debt wreck' in August, 2011 simply reminds us of the prior items you have read above

You see, there will always be something negative that will happen. Week

Greetings from Wall Street!

WallStreeti.com, LLC is very proud to be considered Wall Street's Top Boutique Investment Advisory Firm; and as added value, we thought that we would blog a bit about current events in the global marketplace.

As evidenced over the past year, the turbulence, or correction, for lack of a better term, really takes its toll on businesses, investors, as well as policy makers. But if you look at the historical trends of the stock market, two very pervasive patterns emerge almost without exception:

1) The stock market has consistently achieved greater than 10% returns over the past 100 years.

2) The best time to buy stocks and bonds is when they are on sale!

It seems like common sense, yet very few investors actually make money year over year over year. It takes patience. And it takes discipline. And it takes intelligence. And it takes "getting out of your own way."

We at WallStreeti.com, LLC have heard all kinds of excuses from people over the past decade. But we always respond by saying that it's not:

"Timing The Market" but rather: "Time In The Market"

that will create Long Term Wealth.

These writings are not conjecture, but actual laws of finance that have withstood the test of time.
Far be it from us to start going against these constant laws. Most people try to fight these truths, and they almost always:

Buy High and Sell Low....which leads to very bad historical returns.

So don't make these mistakes! When the market goes on sale, buy a good ETF, bond or stock. Don't wait for the market to go 1,000 or 2,000 points higher. Buy low and then you can sell later (high).

As a closing remark, please notate that the DJIA had its 17th biggest point gain EVER the other day! We think that this signifies the beginning of the final leg of the GREAT BULL MARKET that began in March, 2003:

http://online.wsj.com/mdc/public/page/2_3024-djia_alltime.html

Sincerely,

The Wealth Management Team

WallStreeti.com, LLC

Current Market Conditions; July, 2008

Basically, one might think that due to recent market deteriorations, that we are in a Bear Market, or even worse, a prolonged recession. Actually, we believe that we are in neither. A true Bear Market is fierce, prolonged, and riddled with an enormous amount of downtrends with no recovery in sight.

We are in not in a recession, either. A recession is defined as two consecutive quarters of negative growth...the U.S. Economy has not even had one negative quarter of GDP growth in the past five years! This, we believe, is probably the BEST managed company in the United States Of America, as well as abroad today.

Visa is surely going to pay its owners a very healthy dividend while they (you) wait for it to go up.

The main point with Visa is that you want to buy and hold it for a long-term investment....this means THREE to FIVE years minimum. Don't be an amateur and think that long term means by 12.31.08.....LONG TERM means just that, LONG TERM.

ALWAYS seek the professional guidance of a professional such as an Investment Advisor who can help guide you through the financial maze. PAST PERFORMANCE IS NO GUARANTEE OF FUTURE RESULTS.

Thank you for your time.

VISA IPO

NOTE: ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED HERE IS BASED UPON INDUSTRY RULES, LAWS AND GUIDELINES. YOU MUST TAKE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN INVESTING IN STOCKS AND ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF A LICENSED, QUALIFIED SECURITIES PROFESSIONAL. THE INFORMATION CONTAINED BELOW IS NOT A SOLICITATION TO BUY THE VISA IPO, BUT RATHER TO GIVE A PROFESSIONAL OPINION BASED ON THE CURRENT MARKET ENVIRONMENT AND THE SUITABILITY OF THE IPO FOR YOUR INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO.

So with that said, the $65,000.00 question is this: Will VISA (V-NYSE) perform as well as MASTERCARD (MA-NYSE)? The answer depends upon a number of factors. First of all, Visa is a global leader, with a global brand name, and a global presence. We repeat the word global because we live in a global economy today, and the world is becoming more interconnected and more interdependent. With that said, we believe that the biggest mistake investors make is comparing one stock to another. While you should ALWAYS use your good judgment, sound investment principles, and the help of your trusted Wealth Manager, the bottom line is that a stock is going to perform like a stock wants to perform.

Further, the earnings for Visa have been incredible over the past several years, but they did take a huge portion of their 2007 net income to pay for various legal issues.

That said, we believe that Visa will perform very well over the next several years in the marketplace. You MUST be willing to be a long-term investor with this stock...so many people think that long term means six months! It does not! Long term means three years or greater. That should be your investment time horizon on a new IPO such as Visa.

One last point, if you think that credit card companies don't make money, then you should take a look at this:

http://finance.google.com/finance?q=NYSE:MA

$39 to $190 in less than two years...not bad for a LONG TERM INVESTOR !!

Diversification

Yes, diversification is key, but sometimes it is important to have a concentrated position, too. Although we don't want to give a specific stock, think about it like this: If a stock has the following characteristics in this type of market environment:

1) a low P/E ratio
2) a healthy dividend rate
3) stable and strong earnings
4) a strong brand
5) a leader in its respective industry

Then you should buy it!!

Right now there are some incredibly low priced and fairly valued financial services sector stocks, as well as banking sector stocks.

But be careful, sometimes it's wise to diversify an individual stock holding with a nice ETF, or a few ETF's to offset the systemic risk.

Have a good night.

The Wealth Management Team Of WallStreeti.com, LLC

Market Commentary

Today, you may have noticed that the market rebounded dramatically during the last hour of trading...this is very important because it signifies just how important that the rating agencies' are to the market place.

However, we believe that their will be considerable more choppiness in the U.S. markets, as well as the global markets through 2008 and up until 3Q, 2008.

The WallStreet'i'dea of the day is:

"Stay The Course"
